Jim Meyer is the founder and owner of Oakwood Game Farm, Inc. and Nite Guard, LLC.
Oakwood Game Farm is a large commercial Ringneck Pheasant and Chukar Partridge raising facility located in east central Minnesota. It was founded in 1967, and in addition to being the home of the Nite Guard Solar, they currently hatch and ship hundreds of thousands of day old chicks, started birds and adults to customers across the country.
In June of 2007, after the growing success of the Nite Guard Solar product, a second company called Nite Guard, LLC was created and separated from Oakwood Game Farm to become its own entity. Both companies are owned and operated by the same family.
